Possibly Alan Buchanans' finest design, Vashti is a powerful, handy and well balanced yacht, with graceful lines and counter. The original is still being sailed hard and winning races today as she has done since her launch. She can be seen regularly each season cruising and racing on the UK south and east coasts, Holland and Ireland.

As far as we know there are five of these lovely yachts still in commission. A few were built in GRP but were not as successful on the racing circuit as the original.
